Seoul 2089
This project was created to explore futuristic cyberpunk genre and also to reimagine Seoul with the time setting of 2089 which is exactly 100 years after the my birth year. The city consists of interesting blends of different cultures from immigrants as well as reemerging traditions from historical Korea. There are several sectors in Seoul: 1) The cyberpunk back alley where Sasha's Mask Atelier is located; 2) The clean, well-managed, and planned Central part where skyscrapers and flying vehicles are found; 3) The historical Korean Castle area where people dress up in Hanboks and relive the Chosun era.
The Cyber Ally

Sasha started her mask-making business since 21 years old and now her store is getting fashionistas’s attention.
SASHA
Mask Designer & Shop Owner
✦ Age: 28
✦ Bio: Sasha has been designing fashionable yet functional masks since high school: her friend (framed photo in the background) helps her out by modeling and Sasha does everything from designing to crafting the masks to doing online commerce. Her dream is to grow her brand and have global branches.
✦ Loves: block toys, electronic gadgets, neon colors
✦ Fun Fact: She wears various color contacts depending on the mood of the day and her outfit color scheme.
The Central
“The clean, well-managed, and planned Central part where skyscrapers and flying vehicles are found.”
On the outskirts of the Central area, there are many smaller businesses, such as the French-style cafe run by the 'tea girl.' At the cafe, you will often find Yoon, a straight-A college student from the National University, studying and working on her assignments.
The Tea Girl

✦ Age: 27
✦ Bio: Her name is unknown but she is often referred to as the Tea Girl in town. She is known for her pretty French Cafe in the corner of the Central where she sells various baked goods and drinks. A lot of students like ‘Yoon’ come by to chill or study.
✦ Loves: baking, making drinks but not actually drinking them, animals, plants
✦ Fun Fact: She is known for her popular drink and baked menus but the Tea Girl herself only drinks water most of the time unless tasting is needed.
YOON
A Straight-A Student
✦ Age: 22
✦ Bio: Yoon was born into an elite family and she was always educated to be a good student. Indeed she has been a good girl and she had succeeded in going into the most prestigious school in the country. Even in uni, she continues putting in countless hours of effort into studying, but when she goes outside of the Central, she starts to notice the people outside of her comfort zone and questions whether if her is the best way to live her life.
✦ Loves: studying, reading, observing people, cute animals, the coffee and baked goods at the local French Cafe
✦ Fun Fact: She has a lot of European blood in her; hence the blue eyes, but she has spent all her life studying that Yoon has never been to Europe. Her plan is to travel after graduation.
